Packing Suggestions

Your Passport

And any other important travel documentation (Put these in your carry on bag - not in your checked bag.)

Money

Bring a debit card, a credit card, and U.S. dollars in cash (in US$100 bills; no need to bring pesos).

Prescription Medication

Bring more than enough for your entire stay abroad. Medicine cannot be sent via postal mail from your home country, and you cannot use an international prescription at a pharmacy abroad.

If you prefer certain types or brands of toiletries, pack them in your suitcase. If you use tampons with applicators, those are hard to find here, since the applicator-free model is the one widely used.

Shield your skin from harmful UV rays in sunny days with a high SPF sunscreen.

bug Repellent

Protect against mosquito bites by packing a reliable mosquito repellent.

Small Daypack

To carry your essentials during daily activities. Tote bags without zippers are not advisable for safety reasons.

walking shoes

Comfortable walking shoes are key for any activities involving walking, exploring, biking, or playing soccer.

ELECTRONIC ADAPTERS

Argentina and Uruguay both operate on a 220V supply voltage and 50Hz.
