Investment Fund for Tech Startups is an early stage investment fund, with a focus on technology startups that are pursuing global or regional opportunities in Latin America. Investment Fund for Tech Startups aims to provide seed funding, hands-on advice, and access to a top-notch network of mentors and entrepreneurs across Latin America, Europe, and the United States. It is currently investing out of its second fund a US$45 million vehicle that will invest in the regions’ most promising, high impact entrepreneurs.

Research and Analysis
The intern will run prospecting efforts, conduct research on technology startups in the region, and compile a list of the most promising opportunities. Research will focus on key investment considerations, such as market analysis, impact potential, sector, founder background, and product feasibility. The intern will prepare investment briefs to share with the selection committee in order to help guide decisions on which startups the company should consider.
Suggested Spanish level: Basic
Candidate requirements: Experience in marketing, economics, and engineering would be a plus.
Communications and Social Media
The intern will work on marketing and communications projects in order to promote Investment Fund for Tech Startups’s work in the Latin America region. A focus will be placed on social media, online marketing, and outreach to potential partners in the countries in which Investment Fund for Tech Startups works.
Suggested Spanish level: Basic
Candidate requirements: Experience in marketing, economics, and engineering would be a plus.
