MONITORING AND EVALUATION INTERN
Within the Monitoring and Evaluation area, the foundation conducts a wide variety of surveys from the current participants, former participants, and teams of teachers from all over the country. With this information, they generate reports, research, and presentations on the results of the organization’s programs. The intern who joins this project will carry out an analysis of the information received in the responses of the different surveys in order to present conclusions in projects and publications.
Suggested Spanish level: Advanced
Candidate requirements: Knowledge and advanced handling of Excel or other similar tools is ideal. Interns studying data, economics, business administration, education, public policy or similar fields are preferred.
PROCESS ANALYST INTERN
The intern will improve the standard operating procedures in the foundation’s key administrative areas, including finances, human resources, and operations. The intern will review and analyze existing procedures, consolidate and arrange information in the systems, and present new projects.
Suggested Spanish level: Advances
Candidate requirements: Interns studying business administration, economics, and human resources are preferred. Advanced management of Excel, databases and other similar tolos are preferred.
GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGN INTERN
The intern will develop content for the foundation's digital platforms, including its online web, instagram and youtube account, among others. This will involve the edition and creation of videos and photos, the creation of graphics with key information and promotional content of the available programmes and courses for teachers. The intern will have the support of the leader and other members of the area and will have the opportunity to interact with other teams of the NGO as well.
Suggested Spanish level: Advanced
Candidate requirements: The ideal candidate will have experience in design and knowledge of design software, video editing, graphic pieces and animations. We are looking for someone who has great interest in graphic and web design and is eager to become a part of the Communications team. Strong communication skills and written Spanish knowledge is preferred.
RESEARCH AND ANALYSIS INTERN
The intern will be in charge of researching different projects related to education. Research topics may vary depending on the projects that are actively being conducted at the time of the internship, but will be within the range of public policies surrounding education, pedagogy, and teaching practices, amongst other academic topics.
Suggested Spanish level: Fluent
Candidate requirements: The intern is expected to be able to read research papers, navigate databases/Excel, and write reports. The intern will need to have a high enough level of both English and Spanish to conduct research in both languages. Preferred candidates would be proactive and have excellent interpersonal skills.
COORDINATION AND SERVICE INTERN
The intern will provide general administrative support and assist in managing the logistics behind the organization’s teacher training program.
Suggested Spanish level: Advanced
Candidate requirements: The ideal candidate is well-organized, detail orientated, and has strong problem-solving abilities. They should also have experience with Excel and Google Drive.
