Humanitarian Foundation

Foundation that has been working for ten years with families living in highly under-resourced shantytowns of the City of Buenos Aires, providing opportunities to promote their integral development. The Foundation also has an interdisciplinary work team consisting of 58 people and more than 80 local, foreign, and university volunteers who enrich the space and strengthen the relationships with the beneficiary families. Liberty Oriented Critical Thinking Foundation

This foundation is a hub of critical thinking and research rooted in public politics and principals of liberty. It is a private and indepedent nonprofit that works towards ensuring that the values of Juan Bautista Alberdi and the Consitution of 1853 are present in modern Argentine society. They strive to create an open-minded and tolerant society with low taxes, respect for people’s individual projects, and equality in law.

Grassroots Feminist Organization

This organization fosters feminist collective activism by striving to advance equal participation of women and other minority groups in different areas of social life and to assist researchers worldwide in their work on feminist theory and gender issues studies. Its flagship project is a library and documentation center that hosts over 25.000 books and materials with different supports on trans-feminist theory and literature of women authors. In addition, they also run a research and training center that provides a variety of training and capacity-building programs for women and historically marginalized groups in its community. The intern will work in fundraising, archiving, or library management.

Maternal Health Non-Profit

Anti-Malnutrition Foundation

Anti-Malnutrition Foundation is a non-profit organization that fights the scourge of child malnutrition throughout Latin America. Founded by Dr. Abel Pascual Albino in the province of Mendoza, Argentina, on September 4, 1993, the foundation has grown to more than 100 franchised Anti-Malnutrition Foundation Centers, distributed in 18 provinces of Argentina and in other countries. The methodology focuses on the time from pregnancy to 4 to 5 years of age, which are the critical “first 1000 days” in which the child must consume all the necessary nutrients. Latin American Human Rights Organization

The Latin American Human Rights Organization is a non-governmental and non-profit organization that works in the promotion and protection of human rights throughout Latin America, seeking to create a culture based on unrestricted respect for the fundamental rights of people. Through its work for the defense of human rights, Latin American Human Rights Organization denounces violations of fundamental rights, presents legislative and public policy proposals, and promotes litigation both nationally and internationally.
